Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari and Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today directed the officials concerned to complete Devadula III phase works by next June.
They held a review meeting with officials on the ongoing irrigation projects and Mission Bhagiratha and lakes restoration program at Warangal. Speaking on the occasion, they said the works of Devadula project should be completed on priority basis. Active coordination of the officials will help complete the works on time, they said.
Warangal district will first benefit from the Devadula project on its completion, they felt. By next June last the ayacut should get waters form this project, they said. Kaleshwarm project benefits will first reach Warangal, the ministers said. (NSS)
