Computer Centre staff calls on Zahed Ali Khan

Staff of Computer Centres and libraries called on Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan and news editor Mr. Amer Ali Khan. The delegation of staff complained that the officials of Minority Welfare are planning to close these centres and discharge them from their duties. The association complained that even as the Secretary Minority Welfare assured to issue orders in this connection, the staff from Hyderabad was not paid even the salary of November.

The delegation told that there are 43 Urdu Computer Centres and 30 libraries in 10 districts of Hyderabad. The total number of workers is 178. Although both the institutions are functioning but some officials of Minority Welfare are trying to prove them dysfunctional. The staff complained that recently a report was submitted to the government against the staff and District Minority Welfare Officer Hyderabad refuses to pay the salary for the month of November. District Minority Welfare Officer has refused to submit report to Urdu Academy for release of salaries. When approached Director Urdu Academy passed the matter to Secretary Minority Welfare.

The staff of Urdu computer centres and Libraries appealed Mr. Zahed Ali Khan and Mr. Amer Ali Khan to invite government’s attention towards the matter. Mr. Zahed Ali Khan and Mr. Amer Ali Khan assured to make representation with Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister.
