Hyderabad: The VIII Additional Metropolitan Session Judge on Wednesday extended the conditional bail of Younus bin Omer Yafai, elder brother of Mohammed Pahelwan till March 31.
Being kept in jail for long, the elderly Younus Yafai’s health was quite affected and he suffered from various ailments.
Defence lawyer, Advocate G Guru Murthy had followed his case in the court and filed petition appealing conditional bail to Younus Yafai. But instead of granting bail the Court permitted his treatment in Lifeline Hospital, Chandrayangutta under police escort. His wife and daughter were permitted to stay with him in the hospital.
After Court orders Younus Yafai was shifted from Cherlapally jail to Lifeline Hospital last month where he is undergoing treatment.
