`Confident` Domingo insists Proteas to target ODI consistency

Johannesburg: South Africa coach Russell Domingo is confident that the upcoming ODI series against England would provide his side with an opportunity to build on their winning consistency in this format.

Describing South Africa as a `settled` side, Domingo insisted that his side had been performing well with some of the best one-day batsmen in the world,Sport24 reported.

Admitting that there was always a pressure while playing international cricket, he said that his side would try their best to be regarded as favourites in home conditions.

Domingo, who believes that South Africa and England were very closely matched sides, said that the Proteas would try to display their good brand of one-day cricket in the upcoming series.

South Africa, who lost the four-match Test series against England 1-2 before eventually claiming a huge 280-run win a dead rubber fourth match, will now play a five-match ODI series against England at the Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein starting from Wednesday. (ANI)
