CONG. JEALOUS ON TWO-BEDROOM SCHEME: TRS

TRS MLC K Prabhakar today accused the Opposition parties of being jealous and making useless criticism on the prestigious two bedroom scheme for the people. “The Congress could not digest the TRS housing scheme being fructified”, he charged.

Addressing the media here on Friday, Prabhakar lashed out at AICC leader and former Union minister Digvijay Singh for his remarks against the TRS Government. He slammed Digvijay for saying that the KCR Government has failed to keep its promises. “The Congress leader spoke with jealousy as the TRS government ensured uninterrupted power supply, two bedroom houses, pension and other welfare schemes and development programs”, Prabhakar said. “We have waived crop loans and will do so for the remaining part of the loan”, he said. “The Telangana government wants to see neighboring Andhra Pradesh State develop and progress gradually. Andhra people were happy when KCR made it to Amaravathi foundation program”, he said.

Prabhakar said the TRS government gave top priority for providing permanent shelter to the people without houses. He profusely thanked Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for launching the housing program on the occasion of Dasara. The scheme will see the construction of 60000 in first phase and will be handed over to the beneficiaries, he added. (NSS)
