Cong. Leaders are black money hoarders & tax evaders: TRS

TRS leader Palla Rajeshwar Reddy today criticized that the Congress leaders have black money and most of them are tax evaders. Their comments on black money and its implications are baseless, he said.

Addressing the media here today, Palla condemned the comments of the Congress leaders against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. He warned that the TRS will not keep quiet if the Congress leaders continue to make derogatory remarks against the Chief Minister. He claimed that Chief Minister KCR only met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and urged him to sort out the problems arising out of demonetization decision while the rest of the chief ministers did not do so.

The fallout of scrapping of high value Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes has adverse impact on the large section of the people. The Centre should compensate the State for the loss incurred by the scrapping decision, he said. The Centre’s decision of cancelling the old notes will be fruitful only when the common people are saved from waiting in long queues. The TRS leader demanded that the Centre take immediate measures to release into market adequate number of new Rs 500, Rs 100 and other notes to check the currency shortage in the State as the people are put to hardship with Rs 2000 note. (NSS)
