Information Technology Minister K Tarakarama Rao said that the Power Point Presentation by the Congress on irrigation projects in Telangana undertaken by the TRS government fell short of facts and was misleading.
Speaking to media persons, the minister said that the irrigation experts pointed out many flaws in the presentation carried out by the Congress leaders. The fear that they might stay for long out of the power is worrying the Congress leaders and they are resorting to all sorts of the propaganda, he said.
He said that Congress is claiming that it had provided irrigation for one crore acre land which is laughable.
The Minister said that the TRS government was committed to the welfare of the farmers and is making all efforts in this regard. He said irrigation projects would solve all the problems. He said that Telangana was making strides in the development of all spheres.
Regarding the Supreme Court notice to Speaker on defection of MLAs, the minister said that law will take its own course. (INN)
