Congress to complaint against police behaviour

TPCC Vice-President Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Wednesday informed that the Congress party would lodge a complaint against the behaviour of police against those who were protesting against lathicharge on outsees of Mallana Sagar project.

Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here, Bhatti said that the Congress party would lodge a complaint before DGP Anurag Sharma on Thursday. He said separate complaints would also be lodged before State and National Human Rights Commissions against the arrest of elected representatives of Congress party. He accused the police of displaying “over action”. He also informed that the TPCC’s Committee on Land Acquisition would meet on Thursday to decide future strategy.

Bhatti said that the Congress leaders all districts to enlighten the farmers against the forced land acquisition by the TRS Government in the State. (INN)
