New Delhi: Congress social media and communications head Divya Spandana tweeted a meme early on Thursday calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s supporters “stupid”.
She Tweeted a picture of PM Narendra Modi with an overlaid text that read, ” Did you know? 1 out of 3 Modi supporters are just as stupid as the other two.” She captioned the image as, “My favourite! Aren’t they adorable?”

Earlier in September 2018, Divya Spandana was booked under sedition charges for insulting Modi and calling him a ‘chor’. She Tweeted a photoshopped picture of PM Modi painting the word “chor” on the forehead of his statue with a caption #ChorPMChupHai.
She is not the only social media head of a political party guilty of such posts on social media. BJP’s IT Cell Chief Amit Malviya had made similar barbs at Congress leaders in the past as well.
