New Delhi, Oct. 20 : Putting the onus on the Congress for creating a bad name for the nation internationally, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday called the grand old party synonymous with corruption.
“The corruption that occurred during the Congress regime continues to shame India. Even as Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been presenting a shining India to the world, he has ensured that India’s image has gone up all over the world,” said BJP spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao.
“We continue to have scandals of the Congress era surfacing repeatedly, which continue to damage brand India. Congress is synonymous with corruption…and INC for the vast masses of this country stands for India’s naturally corrupt party,” he added. (ANI)
