Congress will regain lost ground in Telangana: Uttam Kumar

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Monday expressed confidence of Congress party regaining its lost ground in Telangana State.

Addressing the 130th anniversary of formation of Congress party at Gandhi Bhavan, Uttam Kumar Reddy claimed that all leaders were working unitedly to strengthen the base at the grass root level. He advised the Congress workers to approach the masses to make them aware about the failures of TRS Government in the State. He said that the TRS Government has cheated SC, BC, ST and Minority communities with fake promises. He said there was a huge mismatch between the TRS Government’s claims and performance.

Uttam Kumar Reddy also recalled the services of Congress party and its leaders for the nation. He said former Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi lost their lives for the country. However, he alleged that the BJP-led NDA Government was trying to divide the country on communal lines.

TPCC Working President Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, ex-Union Minister S. Jaipal Reddy, Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir, ex-TPCC President Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Youth Congress president Anil Kumar Yadav, former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav and other senior leaders were also present on the occasion.
