Hyderabad: Fascist forces are trying to destroy cosmopolitan culture of India. They should know that ‘Divide and rule’ policy could not be implemented at any cost. This country has maintained its unique cosmopolitan culture for long. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad and Muslims in large numbers fought along with Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and other countrymen during freedom struggle.
Dr. B R Ambedkar drafted constitution and ensured equality to all communities and taught lesson of respecting each others religion. Despite this fascist forces are raising Common Civil Code issue. These views were expressed by M Shashidhar Reddy while addressing National Integration Day organised by Subedaar Ameer Ali Khan Global Peace Foundation here at Press Club Basheer Bagh.
Mr. Farooq Ali Khan Founder and President Foundation presided over the function. Balakrishna Madhiraj was given National Integrity Award 2016. Mrs. Maureen, Dr. Anees Siddiqui, Prof. K Purushottam Reddy and Mohammed Sirajuddin also addressed on the occasion.
