Job Description:

Program Planning and Management:

Support state in developing District AAPs, allocating targets to the districts and facilities after the approval of the plan to enhance ownership, bring accountability and better management
Support in facilitating coordination meetings with NHM and other line departments for integrating HIV activities in their annual plans.
Work with DNO for co-hosting of HIV facilities for smooth and regular follow-up. Flag unresolved issues to the State/National leadership through DNOs/SPMs.
Support DNOs in improving the linkages and referrals by coordinating with other divisions in SACS and NHM
Capacity Development:
Support in developing training modules; Facilitate induction and refresher training to DAPCU staffs, enhance the capacity of DAPCU and facility staff through field visits, program reviews.
Support DNOs in establishing continuing education using available platforms and monthly meeting forums to save time and resources; in developing learning centers for cross learning

Program monitoring and feedback:

Support the district and state leadership in effective monitoring of the program and provide objective and timely feedback.
Make joint field visits with state and district teams and suggest corrections.
Facilitate periodic review meetings to be held in the district and at the state level
Build capacity of the staff for timely reporting and accuracy of data by all the facilities and facilitate data quality assessment; Establish systems for data validation at the district level
Build capacity of DNO in analysis of data reported through SIMs on a monthly basis.
Representation, Advocacy and Mainstreaming:
Support DNO in coordinating with the non-DAPCU districts ensuring the delivery of social welfare schemes to PLHIV and its data maintenance.
Documentation and reporting: Be responsible for documenting good practices, success stories and ensuring regular reporting by the facilities; promote use of DAPCU blog
Other activities as per the programme requirement and directions from the supervisor

Minimum 5 years experience in management of health programs
especially in national health program preferably HIV/AIDS program

MBBS with Degree/Diploma in Health Management/ Public Health or Masters in Social Sciences
