Contingency to victims of demolition drive: Mahmood Ali

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali told that government will not leave the victims of demolition drive in the lurch. Double bed room houses will be provided to poor deserving people, he said. He directed officials of Revenue Department to identify suitable land for construction of double bed room houses and submit a report to the government. He informed that Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is collecting details of affected people during demolition and they will be provided double bed room houses on priority basis.

Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali appealed people to avoid constructing houses without permission as government has decided to take strict action against unauthorised constructions. He told that Chief Minister has directed to carry out demolition activity irrespective of political association hence no interference can stop the officials from carrying out the activity. He also revealed that government plans to relax rules of building permission so that people can easily obtain permission.
