Cook lauds talent at Hyderabad women’s college

New Delhi: Apple CEO Tim Cook, who visited G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science (for women) campus in Hyderabad on Thursday, was left impressed by the local talent.

“Lots of talent and enthusiasm at the new Mac Lab at GNITS women’s college. Enjoyed visiting you yesterday!” Cook tweeted on Friday.

He inaugurated a computer centre at the college for which also Apple signed a Memorandum of Understanding for training the students. Cook admitted he was impressed by Hyderabad’s culture and history and had already fallen in love with the city.

On the second day of his India visit on Thursday, Cook inaugurated Apple’s Development Centre in Hyderabad. The facility will focus on development of Maps for Apple products like iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch.
