Hyderabad: Worried due to financial crunch, a couple sold their newborn baby girl at Rs. 10000. According to details the incident occurred at Vemulapally mandal of Miryalguda division, in Nalgonda, where Saidulu’s wife Bhagima gave birth to their 4th daughter on October 21. The couple already had three daughters and another girl was born to them. They were already facing problems raising the three daughters hence they sold the 15-day-old girl for Rs. 10,000 to a childless couple in Nalgonda district of Telangana.
Based on information provided by a Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), a police team took up investigation and found that the girl. The girl was rescued on Thursday Vemulapally police.
