Banswara: In a village of Banswara district in Rajasthan, a 20-year-old boy and his 18-year-old cousin were assaulted by villagers. They were also made to walk naked. The story came into the highlight after a video became viral on social media. A report of Deccan chronicle revealed.
Kachru, the boy after getting wounded was admitted to a hospital. “The two were in an illegitimate relationship and had eloped to Gujrat but later their families brought them back,” Ravinder Singh, station house officer stated.
“In spite of being cousins, they were into such a relationship, the families had quietly speculated the incident, while the village had a Khap-like ruling on teaching youngsters the lesson,” reported by SHO.
Anand Sharma, the superintendent of Police said that a case has been registered against 4 people involved in the incident, under the section IPC and the information and technology act.
