Mumbai: Shankar Lal the RSS leader and president of Akhil Bharatiya Gau Sewa Sangh on Saturday gave a bizarre twist to science and logic.
A 76-year-old, apart from drinking cow urine explained many “virtues” of cow dung ranging from protection against radiation to the treatment of deadly diseases.
“Cow is our mother. Its excreta and urine are nectar and have power to save humans from any disease. If cow dung can treat cancer, why can’t it save us from a phone’s microwaves?” the group’s leader Shankar Lal said in an interview to The Indian Express.
“It is fresh cow dung. I have put it to save myself from the harmful radiations of the cellphone. It works, believe me,” he says when a journalists probed about the ‘gobar’ on his phone.
Here is what the RSS pracharak said during his interview:
– If cow dung can treat cancer, why can’t it save us from a phone’s microwaves? Haven’t you heard that Junagadh scientists (in Gujarat) have found gold in cow’s urine (they found traces of it)?
– We make pregnant women eat cow dung and urine paste every day during her pregnancy to ensure a normal delivery.
– We treat all dreadful diseases with cow dung.
– The Indian desi cow gobar has some ‘magical properties’ and should not be found in western monsters like Jersey or Holstein. Their dung and milk are nothing but poison.
