CPI condoles Jayalalithaa’s demise

CPI Telangana State unit secretary Chada Venkat Reddy today condoled the demise of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha.

In a pressnote here today, Chada said Jayalalitha introduced many welfare schemes for the poor people and won their hearts and became “Amma” who struggled hard for the cause of the poor. She shifted to politics from lucrative film field and rose to become a national level leader, he said.

“Jayalalitha has fans and sympathizers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and other States besides Tamil Nadu”, Venkat Reddy said. He expressed grief at the demise that threw her fans into deep sorrow and unavoidable agony. Jayalalitha’s death is irreparable loss to the nation as well as in politics, he added. (NSS)
