The Telangana State Council of Communist Party of India has hailed the TRS government for taking a good decision by regularizing the services of outsourcing employees in the Electricity department.
In a pressnote, CPI State secretary Chada Venkat Reddy urged the State government to do so with regard to the outsourcing employees working with Tourism Corporation, TSRTC, Singareni Collieries, Medical, Municipal, Gram Panchayats, Universities and other organizations. He said the outsourcing employees were working for several years with meager salaries and demanded that the State and Central governments implement the Supreme Court direction to give equal pay to equal work to the temporary, casual, outsourcing employees and regularize their services. He urged the State government to expedite the process of regularizing services of outsourcing employees. (NSS)
