CPI Narayana warns KCR on Dharna Chowk issue

CPI national leader Dr K Narayana has warned the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao saying that the latter will experience the loss depending upon the latter’s violation of peoples’ democratic rights. The creation of separate Telangana state was possible only with the prevailing democratic rights in the then United Andhra Pradesh state. “Otherwise, KCR didn’t live today in case the then state suppressed his throat when he had taken up deeksha in Khammam district”, he opined.

Narayana addressed the conference held here on Thursday demanding the state government to protect Dharna Chowk at Indira Park in the name of Save Dharna Chowk. Narayana said that the entire nation discussing about the undemocratic policies, shifting of dharna chowk, red chilli farmers attack in Khammam market yard. The TRS government was misleading the people of the entire nation while indulging in falsehood campaign by making wrong statements in regard to development and welfare schemes.

Stating that the people didn’t stop their agitations at Jantar Mantar though the BJP was in power at centre, Narayana said that the people of the entire nation were in wondered as the people of Telangana were demanding for the rights of freedom of expression and right to question. “KCR is saying that he is implementing Communists’ agenda while saying that he is only the Communist “, he wondered. CPI senior leader alleged that the credit of speaking true lies goes to KCR and it was unfortunate that he became the chief minister of the Telangana state.

Left Parties leaders B Venkatesham, Chayadevi, Gelvaiah, Srinivas, Shankar Naik, Yadaiah, Chakribhai, Chandramohan graced the dais while CPM city secretary Somaiah presided over the program and CPI City secretary ET Narasimha welcomed the dignitaries. (NSS)
