CPI seeks increase in working hours of Assembly

Hyderabad: Demanding that the government increase the working days of the budget session, CPI lone leader in the Assembly R Ravindra Kumar alleged that the government was running the House only to fulfill the statutory compulsions.
Speaking at the Assembly media point here on Friday after the Business Advisory Committee’s meeting, Ravindra Kumar said that it was atrocious on the part of ruling party that it was violating tradition of taking up the adjournment motions whenever the members raises. The government was made it clear that it will take up adjournment motions only after question hour and zero hour. But in reality the government adjourning the House after the question hour and zero hour regularly, he alleged. (NSS)
