CPI urges CM to regularize contract staff in Health dept

CPI lone MLA R Ravindra Kumar has demanded that the State government regularize services of the contract employees working with Health centers, regional and district hospitals, which are under Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishath.

 

Ravindra Kumar addressed a letter to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday in this regard. Kumar also attached the request letter of the 158 contract employees along with his letter. He said in his letter that it is learnt that the government was not going to regularize the services of 158 contract employees on the pretex that the Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishath was an ‘Autonomous Body’. Salaries were being paid to them as grant in aid system and it was not possible to regularize their services.

Ravindra Kumar requested the government to re-examine their case and regularize the services of the contract employees, whose age was also barred for any other government job. (NSS)
