Communist Party of India (CPI M), Greater Hyderabad Central City Committee, has demanded that the State Government order an inquiry into the Outer Ring Road “scam”.
CPI(M) secretary M Srinivas, in a pressnote here on Monday, asked as to why the Outer Ring Road works are delayed, not why no action was taken against the erring contractors? He also asked why the State government itself paid Rs 20 crore penalty to Jaika Company instead making the contractors to pay the fine. (NSS)
