CPM State secretary Tammineni Veerabadram has demanded that the TRS government shun the idea of approaching Supreme Court on G.O.No.123.

Speaking to the media at MB Bhavan here on Thursday, Tammineni demanded that the government implement Land Acquisition Act-2013 immediately instead of thinking to approach the upper Court. Stating that ANMs were on strike demanding the government to regularize their jobs, Tammineni demanded that the government has to regularize ANMs jobs immediately. Asking the government to increase the mess charges of welfare hostels, he said the tribal people were dying due to fever. The government was not bothered about the tribal people suffering from Malaria fever. The government has to initiate immediate action to save the tribal people from deadly fever, he said.

Stating that the CPM Telangana State unit will extend its support to the proposed September 2 nationwide strike, he said that the GST Bill will help some States and it will affect badly other States. Alleging that the Centre was eating the rights of the States, he asked the Centre to initiate steps to help the States which would be affected badly due to GST Bill. (NSS)
