Gambling Den Unearthed

(Siasat News): The West Zone Team of Commissioner Task force has raided an apartment in the posh Srinagar colony where a gambling den was being run and arrested nine persons.

It is said that one Nagender Babu was running a gambling den at Kamalapuri colony where a building called ‘Sushita’ is situated.

The flat No. 302 was used as a gambling den. When police was informed about this, it conducted a raid and arrested nine persons.

Police also seized Rs. 1,28,000 in cash, nine mobile phones and other items. The arrested persons are handed over to Banjara Hills police station fir further action.

Infant’s dead body found

(Siasat News): Meerpet police has found the dead body of an infant. On a tip-off, police came into action and after the panchnama; the dead body was shifted to the mortuary.

Police sources said that the dead body was found at Gayathri Nagar, phase-II. The infant was aged just 24 hours.

Police suspect that after the death of the infant, it was thrown in the dust bin. Police Meerpet has registered a case and police is trying to trace the parents of the infant.

Two die in suspicious circumstances

(Siasat News): Two persons died in suspicious circumstances in Asifnagar and Langar Houz. According to Asifnagar police, one Sheikh Karim, 55, resident of Asifnagar died in suspicious circumstances.

Police suspect that he might have died due to ill health.

Langar Houz police said that one T Ramesh, 39, a labourer, was found dead at Labour Adda from where people come and hire the labours for their domestic work.

Police further said that Ramesh had left the house yesterday but did not return home. Both the cases are registered and investigations are on.

Father’s death led son to commit suicide

(Siasat News): A man, who was shocked by the death of his father and his deteriorating health, took the extreme step of ending his life.

This incident occurred in Vanasthalipuram where Balraj, 27, took the extreme step. The deceased was a labour and resident of B N Reddy Nagar.

He was the native of Mahboobnagar. Sometimes back, he was electrocuted and was not properly cured ever since. Moreover, his father had died three months back.

This double trouble led him to commit suicide by consuming pesticide. Though he was taken to the hospital but died during the treatment.

Police has registered a case and further investigations are in progress.
