Inspector held for misbehaving with woman

(Siasat News): A sub-inspector attached to Medchal police station was held and sent to jail in compliance with Nirbhay Act for allegedly misbehaving with a married woman.

As per the details, the married woman had visited the police station in connection with her missing husband to get some vital information but sub-inspector Satish misbehaved with her and allegedly harassed her.

The woman lodged a complaint with the higher authorities of Cyberabad police. An investigation led to the fact that Satish was the culprit.

Inspector of Medchal police Sashank Reddy registered a case with Nirbhay Act. He was arrested and produced in the court and from there he was sent to Cherlapally Jail.

Man jailed for 10 years

(Siasat News): The Metropolitan Session Judge of Nampally Criminal Court convicted a man for 10 year rigorous imprisonment and fined Rs. 1,00,000 as he was found guilty of illegal trade of marijuana.

Session Judge Smt. Rajani has delivered the verdict convicting Pathan Ali Khan, resident of Borabanda.

The public prosecutor said that Pathan was caught red-handed with 35 kgs of Marijuana. The convict is sent to Cherlapally Jail.

NCC Cadet dies in road accident

(Siasat News): In a tragic road accident occurred near Rail Nilayam in Secunderabad, a girl student died on the spot. It is said that the deceased Swapna, 20, was a degree student and was an NCC cadet.

She was going for a parade rehearsal to Parade grounds in Secunderabad for the ensuing Independence Day celebrations where she was mowed down by a speeding truck, killing her on the spot.

People of the locality provided the details of the truck driver to Begumpet police and within minutes police reached to the spot and arrested the driver.

There was heavy traffic jam near Rail Nilayam after the accident. The dead body was sent to Gandhi Hospital and from there it was handed over to the relatives of the deceased after post mortem.

A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
