Mother-son electrocuted to death
(Siasat News): In a tragic incident occurred at Warsiguda in Secunderabad a mother and her minor son electrocuted to death. This news is circulating in social media that have sent shock waves in the city.
As per the details, one Haleemunnisa, 25 and her 4-year-old son Rehman Khan were electrocuted by their faulty washing machine.
At the time of the incident the 18-month-old daughter of the deceased was also there in the house. According to Chilkalguda police, the wires of the washing machine were cut by mice and the wire was exposed.
Due to this the electric current proved fatal for the duo. In the morning hours, the washing machine was switched on for washing the clothes and Haleemunnisa was the first to get electrocuted.
Her son was playing around. Seeing his mother in trouble, he also reached near her and touched her without knowing that it would prove fatal for him too.
Later, the neighbours informed the police. Haleemunnisa was the wife of one Ashraf Khan of Amber Nagar, Warsiguda. He was a physiotherapist.
This family had shifted to Warsiguda last year. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
