Demonetization: Worried for daughter’s marriage, father commits suicide

(Siasat News): Demonetization has killed many people. The recent incident took place at Jagatgirigutta where a worried father committed suicide as he realized that due to demonetization, he will never able to get his daughter married.

However, police is tightlipped over the reasons of the suicide. It is said that the deceased Vankataiah, 48, was the resident of Jagatgirigutta. His daughter’s marriage was fixed on December 16 and for the expenditure he had deposited the money in the bank when demonetization happened and people were restricted to withdraw their own money.

A dejected Vankataiah took Rs. 1000 from his son and went missing. Police found his dead body at Taranagar.

Further investigations are on.

Auto driver ends life

(Siasat News): A man, who was in acute financial crisis, took the extreme step of ending his life.

According to railway police Kachiguda, 25-year-old Ramesh, an auto driver by profession and resident of Saroornagar facing acute financial crunch and very much worried about his livelihood.

Yesterday, he jumped before a running train between Dabeerpura and Malakpet railway stations.

Railway police is further investigating.

Construction supervisor fell-off the building, dies

(Siasat News): A man died in suspicious circumstances at Kamatipura in old city. It is said that 45-year-old Sheikh Mukhtar, was a construction supervisor and has been living at Ranmastpura.

Yesterday, he was busy in his work on the 6th floor of a school building when he fell-off from there on the 2nd floor. He was severely injured and later died.

Police said that it was an accidental death. Further investigations are in progress.
