Liquor and cash seized
(Siasat News): In view of the GHMC elections, city police has intensified the security in twin cities and crackdown operations are in full swing.
In one such operation the Blue Colt officials of the city police has arrested the owner of City Wines Murlidhar red-handed when he was selling the wine near Music Centre in Koti.
He was immediately arrested and a case has been booked against him. Similarly, police recovered Rs. 20 lakh from the possession of Bharat Singh and Jadhav.
It is said that on the behest of one Manu Patel, this big amount was to be handed over to a political party.
In another incident Amberpet police has arrested TRS activist Dinesh, resident of Amberpet for distributing cash in Kandaswamy Lane.
Police has specially deployed 25000 officials to meet any untoward situation.
