Man dupes lady in the name of marriage

(Siasat News): Cyberabad police has arrested a man involved in duping a woman in the name of marriage. 43-year-old Shashidharan, native of Kerala, has been working at a firm in Bengaluru.

The story begins when he prepared his profile on matrimonial website and contacted a lady from Madhavpur and showed his keen interest in marrying her.

He posed himself as a permanent citizen of London and ultimately married the woman and asked her to deposit a sum of Rs. 7.5 lakh in the bank for her London visa.

He also obtained a gold chain from her. After this, Shashidharan suddenly disappeared. In the meantime, the woman lodged a complaint with Cyberabad police.

The investigations were immediately started and police was successful in nabbing the culprit.

Later, it was also revealed that the accused was already married and had two children. Moreover, a dowry case was also lodged against him.

Fake currency racket busted, 3 arrested

(Siasat News): Commissioner Task Force has busted a fake currency racket and not only arrested three persons but also recovered Rs. 9 lakh in fake currency.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Task Force Mr. Limba Reddy said that the kingpin of the racket is one Mohd. Aqeel Marfani, 26, resident of Moghalpura. He with the help of his maternal uncle Mohd. Yaseen, a Pakistani national, transferred the huge amount in fake currency to Hyderabad via Dubai.

He further said that Aqeel had gone to Dubai in July, 2015 in connection with a job. There he spoke to his uncle on phone and described his poverty. Aqeel also borrowed a sum of Rs. 2 lakh from his uncle.

Taking advantage of the situation, his uncle with the help of his agents arranged to transfer Rs. 9 lakh to Dubai in fake currency.

In October, Aqeel also transferred a big amount in fake currency to Hyderabad and hid it somewhere in his house. He also contacted his childhood friends to help him in circulating the fake currency in the market for which he had promised them good money.

In this connection, Aqeel and one of his friends had reached Bomaby Hotel, Mahankali, Secunderabad but fate had something otherwise.

Police was already alerted and the duo was arrested with fake currency of Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 denomination. Mahankali police will conduct further investigations against the racket.
