Police employee ends life in Alwal
(Siasat News): A police employee ended his life at Alwal in Cyberabad. It is said that the head constable Raman Prasad, 45, who was on his duty at C R Headquarters, hanged himself to death last night.
Though he had attended his duty as usual and shown no sign of depression. However, after completing his work, he went back to his house and committed suicide.
The motive behind his suicide is yet to be ascertained. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Barkas Attack Case, Akbar recorded statement
(Siasat News): Majlis MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi recorded his statement in the court in connection with attack on him some three years ago.
The hearing of this case is going in additional chief metropolitan magistrate. Today the security was beefed in the concourse of the court as the conspirators of the attack on Akbar were also present in the court simultaneously.
The judge had recorded the statement of Akbar in the presence of both the parties. There was enough security outside the courtroom.
The supporters of both the parties were also present. This was the perhaps for the first time that after the attack, Akbar and Mohamed Pahelwan came across each other but there was no face-off.
Police had escorted the supporters of both the parties and there was enough curiosity seen among the onlookers. Akbar’s advocate inquired about the alleged attack and conspiracy with Akbar himself.
He said that Mohammed pahelwan and his associates are known to him. When he (Akbar) was threatened by them, he had lodged a complaint with the police.
After recording the statement, the court was adjourned and the next date for hearing was fixed on 25th February.
