Alcoholic husband kills wife

(Siasat News): An alcoholic husband brutally killed his wife in Jeedimetla and later surrendered before the police in Medak district.

Jeedimetla police said that Sushila, 42, was killed b y her husband Rama Rao who was jobless and an alcoholic. Sushila has been working in a pet store.

Yesterday, Rama Rao reached the house in an inebriated condition and had exchanged heated argument with his wife. Out of anger he repeatedly banged her head on the ground in which she died.

Later, he locked his house and fled the scene to reach Medak where he surrendered before the police.

Two die in road accidents

(Siasat News): Two persons died in two different road accidents occurred in Narsingi and Kaira police limits.

Police sources said that 45-year-old Sri Sailam, a labourer and resident of Khanapur, was hit by an unknown vehicle when he was crossing the road that proved fatal.

Kaira police said that 65 year-old Shivaiah was a farmer. Yesterday, he was also crossing the road but this time he was hit by a crane and died on the spot.

Both the cases are registered and further investigations are on.

Two women died in train accidents

(Siasat News): Two women died in two different train accidents.

According to Kachigudas police, 20-year-old Fatima Begum who was the daughter of one Mohd. Shareef of Bahadurpura, died when she was crossing the railway tracks near Yakutpura railway station as she was hit by a speeding train that proved fatal.

Nampallly railway police said that 45-year-old Pochamma, a contract labour of GHMC and the resident of Tonpally. Yesterday, she was crossing the railway tracks near Nampally railway station when she was hit by a train and died instantly.

Both the cases are registered and further investigations are on.
