Passenger arrested with 1 kg gold

(Siasat News): The custom officials at RGI arrested a passenger and seized 1 kg and 349 grams gold from his possession.

As per the details, the flight was scheduled from Dubai to Chennai via Hyderabad. During the halt a passenger of the Dubai flight wanted to go to Chennai by shifting his aircraft.

However, during the custom check, the officials found the gold in his luggage. When he was grilled, he could not give the satisfactory reply.

The name of the passenger was not revealed and he was handed over to the police for further investigations.

Wife’s suspicious death, husband arrested

(Siasat News): A husband had allegedly killed his wife at Wadi-e-Saleheen in Pahadi Shareef.

It is said that the deceased Samreen Fatima, 20 was married to one Mohd. Naveed. The couple has a two-month-old baby boy. Sometimes back the husband and wife had had taken a house on rent at Balapur.

However, last night they had quarreled and out of anger Naveed had attacked his wife with a stick on her head in which she was severely injured and died. A frightened Naveed in the meantime, phoned his mother-in-law saying that Samreen had fallen on the ground due to epilepsy attack and was injured that proved fatal.

The family of the deceased immediately reached the spot and informed Balapur police. Clues team also reached there.

Dowry harassment and murder cases were registered against the husband. Further investigations are on.

Engineering student fell off the building, dies

(Siasat News): An engineering student fell off the fifth floor of the college building and died.

According to Ghatkesar police, one Dinesh Reddy, 19, native of Nalgonda, has been studying at VVSR Engineering College.

However, on the fateful day, he fell off from the fifth floor of the building and had sustained severe injuries.

He was immediately shifted to the hospital but he succumbed to his injuries on the way. Police Ghatkesar is yet to ascertain that what was Dinesh doing on the fifth floor and how he had lost his balance?

Further investigations are in progress.
