Selfie passion cost two student’s life

(Siasat News): Selfie passion is almost taken the entire world in its grip where people simply want to make every occasion memorable by taking selfies by their cellphones.

Of late, it has become a threat to the lives of many. One such incident took place at Anujiguda in Medchal where two students drowned while taking selfie.

It is said that 16-year-old Avinsah and his friend Charan, students of Narayana Junior College of Tarnaka, had gone to Anujiguda in Ghatkesar for a tour.

They were taking selfie while standing near a pond but both of them accidentally lost the balance and fell into the water and drowned.

They were not swimmers. Moreover, there was nobody else to help them out. Ghatkesar police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Man arrested for harassing girl

(Siasat News): Cytberabad police has arrested a stalker who used to harass a young girl in the name of marriage and threaten to upload her photos on social networking sites.

The accused is identified as one P Harish who hails from Nellore. The accused had befriended a girl earlier and has been harassing her to marry him.

The victim was the resident of Amirpet and had come to the city for training in order to get a job in an institute.

In the meantime, she befriended with Harish but their friendship was short-lived as they had developed some differences and had distanced from each other. The boy had hacked the face book and Gmail account of the girl and started sending obscene messages and threatened her that he would upload her photographs on social media.

Following the complaint of the girl, cyber crime police has arrested hi, further investigations are on.

Two commit suicide

(Siesta News): Two persons committed suicide in two different incidents occurred in Asifnagar and Chikadpally police limits.

The first one was reprimanded by his mother on his smoking habit whereas the other one was reprimanded on his boozing.

Police has not disclosed their identities although a case has been registered and further investigations are on.
