Three arrested for black marketing

(Siasat News): Commissioner Task Force of south zone team has arrested three persons involved in black-marketing of ration goods and seized big haul of ration rice and other material.

The task force and the vigilance team of Civil supplies department had raided the ration shops situated at Ziaguda, Bhavani Nagar, Talabkutta, Shadnagar and Puranapul and seized 100 quintal ration rice 2 quintal wheat and other materials and handed them over to Kulsumpura police station.

The ration shop dealers were purchasing the rice at Rs. 7 per kg and selling them at Rs. 15 per kg to poultry farm and other kirana. Stores.

Girl student ends life

(Siasat News): A girl student took the extreme step of ending her life in Chaderghat. It is said that the deceased Swapna, 19, daughter of one Ammuji of old Malakpet, hanged herself to death last night.

Her father was a security guard in a factory and her mother had died a year back. She was very upset ever since and under mental pressure.

Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Man fell-off the roof, dies

(Siasat News): A man fell down on the ground in his sleep in suspicious circumstances in Ghatkesar.

Police said that the deceased Venkatesh, 40, resident of Annujiguda, was a labour. Last night he was sleeping on the roof of his house.

In the midnight, he felt thirst and to get the water, he in his semi-sleep, lost the balance and fell on the ground that proved fatal for him.

Police Ghatkesar is further investigating.
