Lightning kills one
(Siasat News): A man killed in lightening at Pedda Topran in Shamshabad. Police said that the deceased Srikant was the native of the village.
Yesterday, as it was gusty winds bowing with drizzling, he had taken shelter under a tree without realizing that it would prove fatal as he became the victim of lightening that immediately killed him.
Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Business man injured in firing
(Siasat News): A business man at Kattedan was injured when some unknown assailants fired on him that sent shock waves in the locality.
As per the details, one Prasad, native of Karimnagar, has been living in L B Nagar for quite some time. He along with his another friend Munna had instituted ‘Jiyo Sanasar’ in collaboration with SBI.
This is how the bank customers were provided the services of online money transfer and the receipt of the money from the account holders. Yesterday, Prasad was there in his office when a man entered and started talking with him in a typical Bihari dialect and asked him to online transfer Rs. 475.
However, after some time all of a sudden, he took out a revolver from his pocket and fired one round at Prasad from point blank in which Prasad was injured.
The attacker immediately fled the scene and Prasad informed his fellow shop owner about the incident.
Home guard arrested
(Siasat News): Police has arrested a home guard in connection with taking pictures of the woman deputy superintendent of CID on his cell phone.
When the woman DSP noticed the same, she had objected and ordered that the home guard should immediately be arrested. The phone was seized and when it was checked various photos of woman DSP were found uploaded.
A case in compliance with Nirbhay Act was registered against the home guard.
