Youth dies due to short circuit

(Siasat News): A youth, who was repairing some defects of the electrical wire, accidentally came into contact with another live wire.

This incident occurred in Habeebnagar police station limits where one Shelly, 25, employee of electrical department was doing some repairing work on the electric pole.

He fell on the ground after the shock and had sustained severe burn injuries. He was shifted to the hospital where he died during the treatment.

A case has been registered and further investigations are on.

Husband’s harassment led wife to suicide

(Siasat News): A woman, who was under constant harassment by her husband, hanged herself to death.

According to Rajendranagar police the deceased Shivamma, 35, resident of Panduranga Nagar, Attapur was married to one Chandraiah two years ago.

However, the duo was always at the loggerheads and used to fight a lot for one or the other petty matters.

Police said that Chandraiah used to harass his wife and tortured her. A dejected Shivamma took the extreme step of ending her life.

Police Rajendranagar has registered a case and further investigations are underway.

Gambling dens raided, 17 arrested

(Siasat News): The West Zone Team of Commissioner Task Force gad raided a house situated in Asifnagar police limits where people involved in illegal gambling.

Task Force has arrested 12 persons including one Ishaque and seized Rs. 25,000 in cash in 12 mobile phones from his possession.

In another raid, Task Force arrested 5 persons involved in gambling at the residence of one Mohd. Wajahat at MD Lines and seized Rs. 33,000 cash and 5 mobile phones from their possession.

Later, they were handed over to the concerned police stations.
