Two died in train accidents

(Siasat News): Two persons died in two different train accidents occurred in Kachiguda railway police limits in which one of the victims is yet to be identified who is a Muslim.

Kachiguda railway police said that one person died when he was crossing the railway tracks between Kachiguda and Malakpet railway stations whereas the second incident also occurred between the same stations where Sri Salem, 26, was trying to cross the tracks when a speeding train fatally hit him.

Railway police is further investigating.

Uninterested in academics, two students end life

(Siasat News): Two students including a girl committed suicide in Cyberabad limits as both were not interested in education.

These incidents occurred in Saroornagar and Jeedimetla police limits. Saroornagar police said that the 16-year-old girl was the student of Inter-I year but she was not showing any interest in pursuing her studies.

She was under mental pressure that led her to hang herself to death. Jeedimetla police said that the deceased Kiran, 17, resident of Qutubullahpur was the the student of Inter I Year.

He was weak in his studies and not interested to continue the same. Yesterday, his mother had reprimanded her for his weakness in education.

A dejected Kiran hanged himself to death. Police has registered both the cases and further investigations are on.

Harassment of in-laws led woman to suicide

(Siasat News): A woman in Banjara Hills committed suicide over the alleged harassment of her in-laws.

According to police Banjara Hills, 27-year-old Farhana Begum hanged herself to death last night.

Police sources further said that a complaint was lodged by Farhana’s brother Asif saying that his sister had committed suicide due to the harassment of her in-laws.

Farhana was the wife of one Ayub of Ahmed Nagar, First Lancer. Ayub went abroad for his job. In the complaint it was mentioned that Farhana was subjected to torture and harassment by her mother-in-law and sister-in-law.

Banjara Hills police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

11 eve-teasers arrested

(Siasat News): The She team of Hyderabad city police has arrested 11 persons including three minor boys for teasing the college girls and other women.

Additional Commissioner (crimes) Swathi Lakda who is the in-charge of She team, said the team conducted operations in different parts of the city and arrested the road side Romeos.

She said that two minor boys were arrested from Saeedabad when they were teasing the girls by bike racing near a Girls’ College.

Similarly, seven persons were arrested from Krishnakant Park situated in Yusufguda who were absent from their college and teasing the girls by whistling.

The parents of the minor boys were called by the police and after counseling, they were allowed to go.

She team has also arrested three persons including an advocate for harassing the women on phone. It is also said that were sending indecent and vulgar text to the girls by their phones.

Smt. Swathi Lakda has appealed to the girls and the women that if they face any such situations or eve-teasing, kindly contact control room 100 or directly contact the She Team office situated at Haca Bhavan opposite Kalanjali Complex.
