Notorious criminal arrested

(Siasat News): Kalepatthar police has arrested a notorious criminal and seized the stolen materials from his possession.

Assistant Commissioner of Charminar Division Mr. K Ashok Chakvorthy said one Mohd. Farid, 23, resident of Indira Nagar, Kalepatthar along with his friend Abdul Salman, 19 had snatched gold chain from a woman Ratnamma.

When the duo was arrested it was revealed that Farid was earlier involved in various crimes in Mailardevpally and Bahadurpura police limits and was sentenced to jail.

He was also involved in attempt to murder cases. Police recovered the stolen items including motor bikes and other items.

They were produced before the court and sent to jail.

Four injured in wall collapse

(Siasat News): Yesterday’s torrential rains with dusty winds caused the collapse of an under construction wall in Madhapur injuring four persons including an infant.

It is said that at Siddiqui Nagar in Madhapur a wall collapsed on the house of one Raju. The collapse was severe that caused the injuries to Raju’s wife Sangeetha, Yadagiri and Laxmi and others.

There was a minor fracture in Yadagiri’s leg. All are shifted to the hospital.

A case has been registered and further investigations are on.

Suspicious death in Jagatgirigutta

(Siasat News): A man was found dead in suspicious circumstances in jagatgirigutta who was identified as 55-year-old Sheikh Jaleel. Police sources said that the deceased was a driver and residing at Roda Mistry Nagar.

On April 27, he had an accidental fall in which he was severely injured. Though he was immediately shifted to the hospital but he could not survive and succumbed to his injuries.

Police has registered a case of suspicious death and further investigations are on.

Ill health led to suicide

(Siasat News): A man, who was not keeping well for quite some time, took the extreme step of ending his life.

This incident occurred at Langar Houz where one Arjun, 32, ended his life. Police said that the deceased was the resident of Prashant Nagar and has been working as a private employee.

As his health was deteriorating, he was very upset and last night, out of frustration, committed suicide.

Police is further investigating.
