Man held for theft in temple

(Siasat News): Gandhi Nagar police has arrested a car driver involved in theft in a temple.

Police sources said that the driver Syed Maulana Pasha, 25, resident of Indira Nagar, Chandrayangutta, was employed with M Anjaiah, chairman of temple committee.

The driver allegedly stolen Rs. 50,000 from the temple’s hundi on the night of 21st July. Gandhi Nagar police had arrested him on suspicion and when he was grilled, he admitted having committed the crime.

The accused was in the habit of leading a lavish life that led him to commit the crime. Police has recovered the stolen money. Later, he was produced in the court and from there, he was sent to jail.

Man electrocuted to death

(Siasat News): A man was electrocuted to death in Kukatpally. According to KPHB police, the deceased Balu, 30, was a labour and residing at Kukatpally.

Yesterday, he was busy in some labour work at HMT Hills colony where during the work, he came into contact with a live wire and had sustained severe burn injuries.

He was admitted to the hospital where he died during the treatment. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.

Old man dies in train accident

(Siasat News): An old man died in a train accident occurred in Kachiguda railway police limits.

As per the details, the deceased Sheikh Jeelani, 63, a hotel employee, was trying to cross the railway tracks between Falaknuma and Shivrampally railway stations without realizing that a fast train approaching.

By the time, he realized, it was too late and he was fatally hit. Railway police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
