The Bollarum police this afternoon nabbed Chintaginja Anil, 30, of Krishna Nagar colony under Machabollarum in Alwal, who had abducted a minor girl and murdered her after raping. The culprit was arrested at Bollarum Railway station.
According to police, on Saturday the accused kidnapped a minor girl from a toddy shop at Macha Bollarum and raped her near Ammuguda Railway track area after tying her hands and legs with her clothes. Later the accused killed the victim by throwing boulder on her head and fled.
Police said investigation revealed that the accused was involved in 19 cases at Alwal Police Station and Narsapur Police Station of Medak district. He was involved in two rape and murder cases of minor girls and also involved in extortion and robbery cases. Bollarum PS Inspector S Maheshwar and his staff were appreciated for their good job. (NSS)
