Cyberabad CP Blames Andhra Bank Staff For Robbery

Hyderabad: Cyberabad police commissioner C.V. Anand has blamed the Ghatkesar Andhra Bank branch management for the bank robbery here on Thursday. He said the bank management has failed to save the public money in the bank by the criminal negligence of staff of the bank.
He also said the bank officials have violated the RBI norms in saving the public money and the Andhra Bank management failed to save an account holder’s money kept in am ordinary Almirah. The police also registered a case against the bank employees for negligence. The Police department had issued orders to all bankers for protecting the bank ATMs in the State, he said, adding that the Police department would meet the bankers on February 24 for taking safety norms for protecting the banks.
