In a surprise twist, Greater Hyderabad Congress Chief Danam Nagender made it clear that he will not leave the Congress party under any circumstances.

Speaking to the media after a meeting with the opposition leader in the Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir at Council premises on Monday, Danam said that it was true that the TRS leaders have asked him to join their party. At the same time, some Congress leaders have created conditions for him to leave the party, he alleged and said that there was no truth in the reports that he was joining TRS party leaving Congress party. He made it clear that he will strive to strengthen the party in Telangana state.

He advised the media not to embarrass himby frequently asking him whether he would change the party or not. He said that he was pained at the attempts to reduce the limits of Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee. The Greater Hyderabad cadre was along with him and they were ready to sacrifice their lives for the sake of him, he said and added that he will have a meeting with the Greater leaders at Shabbir Ali’s residence on Tuesday at 11AM.

It may be recalled that rumors did the rounds that Danam will join TRS party in the presence of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday.

Speaking on this occasion, Shabbir Ali said that the TRS party was playing mind games and alleged that the TRS party was trying to run the government with hired leaders. It is not good to the state.
