Darul Uloom Deoband expels 11 students for indiscipline


Darul Uloom Deoband has expelled 11 students for alleged indiscipline during the national executive committee meeting held in the institution here.

Vice Chancellor of Darul Uloom Deoband Maulana Abul Kasimnaumani had issued a notice stating that 11 students involved in an agitation at the main gate of the campus on November 16 were expelled yesterday for indiscipline, according to the spokesperson of VC office.

The 11 students, who protested during the committee meeting, raised slogans demanding better facilities at the campus, he said.

After the incident, an inquiry committee was constituted to probe into the matter, the spokesperson added.
