Union Minister Bandaru Dattatraya today hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for effecting demonetization of big notes in order to flush out black money and corruption.
Participated in an awareness program on “cashless transactions” at the IOC outlet at Somajiguda here on Sunday, Dattatraya praised the demonetization decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Alleging that greedy politicians and officials were pocketing Rs 700 crore from Rs 1000 crore sanctioned works, he said this sort of corruption will be curbed with the cashless economy.
Dattatraya alleged that the Congress, which gave free assurances, deceived the people all these years. The leaders, who were not interested in protecting the rights of the people, may not like the speech delivered by the Prime Minister on Saturday evening, he pointed out. He expressed his happiness over the Telangana State government for welcoming the PM decision. (NSS)
