New Delhi: Shyam Keswani, Former Lawyer of Dawood Ibrahim today said that Dawood Ibrahim and his close associate, Chhota Shakeel want to surrender but demands same conditions as are currently given to Chhota Rajan
Quoting an earlier statement by senior lawyer, Ram Jethmalani, Keswani said that both want to surrender but with a condition that should not be lodged in Arthur Road Jail of Mumbai.
Earlier, Ram Jethmalani had revealed that the then Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Sharad Pawar, had rejected Dawood’s conditional offer of surrender. According to Jethmalani, Dawood had wanted to surrender but with a condition that he should be kept under house arrest rather than in jail. Dawood said that the reason behind this condition is that he feared for his life.
