In order to hasten up the process of construction of double bed room houses, the Telangana Government is conducting a day-long workshop for senior officials on Wednesday.
The workshop, to be held in a private hotel at Banjara Hills, will be chaired by Housing Minister A. Indrakaran Reddy. He will also launch a website on 2BHK housing.
The minister will give a power-point presentation on the double bed room housing scheme to brief the officials and builders about the programme. Some financial institutions and corporate houses have come forward to fund the schemes. The details of these institutions will be disclosed during the workshop. The design, unit cost and other issues will also be discussed during the meeting.
The meeting will be attended by Housing Department Principal Secretary Ashok Kumar, GHMC Commissioner Dr. Janardhan Reddy and representatives of builders associations, real estate associations. (INN)
