Delegation of Masajid Imam Council calls on Dy CM

Expressing happiness over the successful implementation of honourarium scheme to Imams and Muezzins of the state, by Telangana government, a delegation of the All India Central Council of Masajid and Imams called on Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali at Ministers’ quarters and congratulated and felicitated him. The delegation led by president All India Markazi Council of Masajid Imams, Hafez and Qari Mohammed Ali Quadri hailed the services of Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali and declared the move worth emulating for other states.

Hafez and Qari Mohammed Ali Quadri told that it is difficult for the Imams and Muezzins to rely on paltry salaries. Keeping this in view Chief Minister sanctioned the scheme after representation by Muslim sympathiser Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali.
