Delhi: Shoaib Kohli, 24, who was coming from his friend’s house from Vasant Kunj was driving a BMW car hit forcfully to an Uber car due to the car was out of control near the IIT Delhi in south Delhi.
According to Hindustan times, the eyewitness to the horrific incident descibed that the cab flung in the air and skid for at least 50 metres before coming to a halt.
The Uber driver, 32-year-old died on the spot and Shoaib fled away and was arrested by the police after 14 hours. Kohli claim that the WagonR suddenly applied breaks in front of him and led to WagonR ram into it, inspite the BMW was allegedly speeding.
Police said that Kohli’s medical examination didn’t resultant in any traces of alcohol in his blood but cannot said for certain as they caught him after 12 hours of the accident.
when the accident took place, Nazrul Islam, victim was on his way to Vasant Vihar from Kalkaji, the car was without air bag and the driver’s head hit the steering wheel causing a fatal injury.
When the vehicles stopped people gathered and helped him and in short span of time Kohli escaped in an auto. The victim lived in Gurgon with his wife and -year-old daughter, and was working as a driver since six years.
It was his first day as an uber driver, wife Arjena Bibi is fighting for his justice, “I will return to Delhi after my husband’s burial. My husband’s killer cannot get away thinking he is a rich man and we are uneducated.”
